The overhaul is officially being led by Emily “Emo” O’Brien, Portfolio Executive Creative Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering across both Disneyland Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort.
O’Brien brings direct experience from overseeing Tokyo Disneyland’s massive Tomorrowland update, which features the complete ground-up rebuild of Space Mountain Earthrise set to open in 2027.
